Update on the Autumn Haiku Contest

16 Dec

The Autumn Haiku contest is still open for submissions.  So far I’ve received 12 haiku entries from people all over the world.

This contest is sponsored by Culture Beings.  The winner of the contest will receive the beautiful poster with a Japan theme shown below.  But you’ll need a valid U.S address to receive this prize.  Since people from outside the U.S have submitted entries, I’ve added a new prize: If the winner doesn’t have a valid U.S address, he/she will receive a package of black garlic made in Aomori, known for its wonderful health benefits.  For more information on Aomori black garlic, click here.

If you’re interested in submitting your haiku, please do so before December 31 (deadline has been extended).  All entries will be published in Discover Japan blog in January, and the winner will be chosen by you, the readers.  It’ll be an exciting way to welcome a new year.  I look forward to hearing from you and sharing all the wonderful haiku entries!
